Drive &Problem Solving and Decision Making

  • Act as a subject matter expert in all stages of the VMS billing process including, but not limited to account reconciliation, dispute management and collections
  • Lead new hire and ongoing team training, reinforcing ProLink’spolicies and procedures as needed
  • Coach and mentor team members to drive performance through side-by-sides, weekly audits,and timely feedback
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to prepare weekly specialized reports for VMS billing, reconciliation,and time entry
  • Act as a primary escalation point for operational issues in the team
  • Complete weekly billing
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of the reporting and resources available in each relevant VMS portal

Communication & Collaboration

  • Coordinate with VMS billing managers to improve processes and build efficiencies on the team and across team within the organization
  • Create and maintain training materials and job aids
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Healthcare staffing experience
  • Associate Degree in business, accounting or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • 2+ years of billing experience
  • Strong leadership skills and critical thinking ability
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized and able to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and manage a large volume of detailed work
  • Ability to read and interpret contracts to discern billing and timekeeping requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to professionally and confidentially manage sensitive employment issues
  • Demonstrated partnership skills and strong service orientation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; embraces and adapts to new technology
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment


  • Prior team leadership or supervisory experience
  • 2+years of VMS billing experience
