ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Problem Solving & Decision Making
- Gathers and reviews client financial data to perform credit checks on potential clients to determine credit worthiness
- Makes data driven recommendations regarding credit to extend to clients
- Serve as an integral part of the credit management decision making process by providing detailed information to serve as the basis for credit decisions
- Ensures that the collection and storage of credit information is up to date and accurate
- Create solutions to current problems and provides innovative suggestions for improving the credit management process
- Suggests counter measures for clients that have credit risk
Communication& Collaboration
- Conduct weekly analysis on credit risk clients and createreportingto communicate findings
- Build credit profiles for current and potential clients by investigating their credit worthiness through reviewing data from various credit platforms (Experian, internet searches, client financial statements, and other information sources available)
- Perform various credit and collection duties as assigned
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree with focus in Business, Accounting, Finance or College Coursework with Corresponding experience
- 1+years of relevant experience
- Strong research, problem-solving, mathematical,and analytical skills
- Detail-orientated, flexible, possess excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to work independently and in team environment
- Requires the ability to use a variety of business or technical programs such as spreadsheets or databases to complete tasks
- Familiarity with spreadsheet software
- Possess critical thinking skills and ability to understand the data flow in various systems
