JOB SUMMARY
The Procurement Analyst reviews all vendor contracts across our portfolio companies, delivering cost reductions, efficiencies and cost avoidance through the performance of data analytics, collaboration and negotiation. This position assists key stakeholders with risk assessment through financial analysis and serves as an advocate for Prolink to drive successful outcomes through contract negotiations and reporting, in support of operational requirements and organizational objectives.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Decision Making

  • Assist with contract negotiations, renewals, quotes and revisions, and modifications terms and conditions with vendors
  • Develop cost saving reporting
  • Assist leaders with identifying vendors and resources to accomplish selecting vendors that best support company objectives
  • Coordinate required approvals based on the document being negotiated
  • Assist executive sponsor with the business and financial analysis for the vendor need
  • Review and provide analysis and options of upcoming renewals as well as new vendors

Resilience

  • Develop strategic sourcing and cost savings initiatives by preparing and analyzing financial data to make recommendation

Communication & Collaboration

  • Work with and aide executive sponsor in developing reporting, executive summaries, and procurement policies
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors while continually scouting for new/additional vendors
  • Performs additional duties as requested by management

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal or relevant field
  • 5+ years working in procurement and vendor management
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to develop strategic cost saving initiatives through financial analysis
  • Effective prioritization & multi-tasking skills and the ability to work in fast-paced environment with the objective of meeting company performance expectations
  • Ability to develop and maintain business relationships
  • A disposition to function in a team environment and to maintain confidentiality
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to use tact, discretion, and independent judgment to analyze and resolve work problems
  • Displays a strong sense of urgency with the ability to self-motivate and remain flexible
  • Occasional travel required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

  • Experience in staffing
  • Master’s degree Business Administration, Finance, Legal or relevant field
