Assessment, management, and evaluation of both low and high risk Antepartum, Intrapartum and postpartum patients; along with normal newborns. Circulate and recover patients during and after cesarean sections.
Shift/Hours:
Night Shift: FT, 36 hrs/wk, 7:00pm - 7:00am
Compensation:
Pay: $36.00 - New Grad, pay will increase based on experience and internal equity.
Tuition Reimbursement: $4000 annually for Full-time; $2000 annually for Part-time. Eligible after 180 days of employment.
Must Haves:
License: IL RN license
Certification: CPR/BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
*ACLS and NRP within 6 months of hire. C-EFM within 1 year of hire
Experience: 1-2 years minimum in L & D or ED - For both locations.
Education: Associates Degree or higher in Nursing.
*If Associates Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021).
Preferred:
Prior experience in acute care setting preferred.

Beds: 16 labor/antepartum rooms, 3 ORs, 5 triage
Patient Population: Pregnant and postpartum patients
Common Diagnoses: Pregnancy with and without complications
Average number of admits per day or week: Average # of deliveries per day is 8
Nurse to Patient Ratio: Varies, Postpartum 1:1-2, Antepartum 1:3
