Driller Helper

Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Driller Helper to join our drilling team. As a Driller Helper,
you will assist the lead driller in operating drilling equipment and performing drilling operations for
various projects. Your support and attention to detail will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and
efficient execution of drilling activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to
handle physically demanding tasks, and a willingness to learn and grow in the drilling field.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the lead driller in setting up drilling equipment and preparing the drilling site.
• Handle and move drilling tools, rods, and equipment as needed.
• Operate drilling machinery under the guidance of the lead driller.
• Monitor drilling operations and provide support during the drilling process.
• Collect and label soil and rock samples for further analysis.
• Maintain drilling equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Clean and organize the drilling site after each operation.
• Assist in recording drilling data and maintaining accurate drilling logs.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as a Driller Helper or in a similar role is a plus but not required.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to handle physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new drilling techniques and equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to project sites as needed.
