Responsibilities:
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnosis, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of nursing care to patients and their families.

Must Haves: 
License: Current IL RN License. 
Certification: American Heart Association BLS/CPR Certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification and NIHSS within 3 months of hire.
Experience: At least one year of experience in acute med/tele, PCU, ICU experience required.
Education: ADN 
 
Preferred:
BSN. Two years of experience in critical care is preferred.

Patient Population:• IMCU receives all of our stepdowns and post RRT patients, chronic vents, pulmonary patients
Common Diagnosis:medicine ,impella,, pulmonary , typical medical PCU, drug OD. Post cardiac arrest, CIWA,neuro brain bleed post TNK. Renal CRRT
What is the nurse to patient ratio?1:2, or 1:1 depending on diagnosis and acuity
Average number of admits per day or week: admits average 5
