Manufacturing Engineer

Prolink is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for a well-established manufacturer in Newport, TN. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on improving manufacturing processes, supporting production and tooling, and solving problems directly on the plant floor.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain BOMs, routings, work centers and manufacturing documentation

• Support new part launches, test runs and production debugging

• Troubleshoot manufacturing and equipment issues alongside production and maintenance

• Improve processes for cost, quality, efficiency and ergonomics

• Support tooling, fixtures and manufacturing process development

• Review product designs for manufacturability

• Develop production standards and maintain engineering drawings and process documentation

• Support formed and fabricated metal manufacturing processes

• Assist with urgent production issues when engineering support is needed

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong hands-on, plant-floor engineering experience

• Experience with tooling or manufacturing equipment

• SolidWorks experience

• Experience with BOMs, routings or manufacturing process documentation

• Strong troubleshooting and root cause problem-solving skills

Experience with AutoCAD, Creo, MasterCAM, CNC machining/programming, resistance welding, metal forming, heat treatment or precision machining is a plus.
