Responsible for providing specialized respiratory assessment and care commensurate with training, experience, and competence to patients with respiratory disorders. Respiratory Care Therapists recommend treatment plans and implement care as directed by the patient's attending physician and hospital protocol.
Shift/Hours:
Multiple Shifts available to include Day and Night shifts.
Compensation:
Pay: Min $$35.75 | Max $43.80
Requirements:
License: CRT, RRT eligible, or RRT credentials from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), and State of Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner Certification/License.
Certification: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP - willing to help with certifications
Experience: New grads accepted.
Education: Graduate of AMA accredited two (2) year Respiratory Care Practitioner education program
Preferred:
2 Years of Recent Experience as a RT in a Level III Trauma Center, Neonatal Experience preferred.
About the Unit:
Number of Beds: Float throughout the whole facility
Patient Population: Neonates and Adults
Common Responsibilities: Vent management (Triology, Vyaire - Transport Vent), V60 Bipap, RTs do NOT intubate at Samaritan, RTs DO Extubate patient, EKGs, Draw ABGs (ABG is run by the lab), RT will do breathing treatments), EPIC charting
RRT to Patient Ratio: 1:1
