Registered Nurse - Surveyor
Overview
The RN Surveyor evaluates healthcare facilities for regulatory compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, or state standards. They conduct unannounced surveys and write deficiency reports, assessing care and infection control. The ideal candidate will have expertise in nursing and quality assurance, with experience in acute or long-term care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site surveys and record reviews.
- Interview staff and observe practices.
- Assess compliance with infection control and care standards.
- Document findings in survey software.
- Provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay current on healthcare regulations.
