Every March 19, the healthcare community comes together to recognize Certified Nurses Day, an annual celebration of nurses who hold national board certification in their specialty. Today—and every day—Prolink holds the utmost appreciation for the nurses within our internal teams and on assignment with us that chose to achieve and maintain their certification.
March 19 is the birthday of Dr. Margretta "Gretta" Madden Styles, RN, EdD, FAAN, a pioneer in the broad implementation of nursing certification. She developed the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), spearheading the acceptance of nursing regulations in the US and abroad. Nurses and patients worldwide still feel the impact of her work today.
