The NLN Foundation for Nursing Education welcomed Prolink's Senior Vice President of Clinical Practice & Innovation, Natalie Jones, DNP, RN, NPD-BC, to join its prestigious advisory council. The addition of Jones will further support an increase in the nursing workforce and help address the shortage of nurses and nurse educators.
“We are so pleased to welcome Dr. Jones to our expanding team on the NLN Foundation Advisory Council, where her contribution to our mission will be greatly valued. We are also confident she will find her work with the NLN Foundation reflective of her longstanding professional dedication to excellence in nursing and health care delivery,” said NLN Foundation Chair Patrick Robinson, PhD, RN, ACRN, CNE, ANEF, FAAN, vice president of nursing, Pacific College of Health and Science.
“I am honored to bring my experience and expertise in the field of human capital in the health care industry to the NLN Foundation Advisory Council, reflecting Prolink’s strong commitment to growing the nursing pipeline,” said Dr. Jones. “Aligned with the National League for Nursing, Prolink is determined to identify the best strategies to cultivate a diverse nursing workforce capable of delivering outstanding, culturally humble care to patients, their families and communities in today’s dynamic, technology-driven health care environment.”
The NLN Foundation supports the National League for Nursing’s competitive nursing education research grants and scholarship programs, among other initiatives, that aim to promote excellence in nursing education and expand diversity and inclusion in the nursing workforce and access to opportunities within higher education for qualified applicants to nursing programs.
