Cincinnati – Prolink has partnered with the Cincinnati Bengals to benefit local charities, beginning with the team’s impressive 2022-23 season. The workforce solutions organization committed to donate $100 to a charity each time the Bengals scored. This season, the Bengals made it into the end zone 49 times, including 35 passing touchdowns and 14 rushing touchdowns, along with 24 field goals through the uprights for a total of 73 scores. Based on this season’s results, Prolink recently donated $7,300 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Greater Cincinnati.
“Giving back is ingrained into Prolink’s corporate culture and the Ronald McDonald House of Greater Cincinnati is one of the local charities we frequently support,” said Peter Frey, Prolink’s Community Relations Manager. “It is always exciting to watch the Bengals play. We are grateful that the team’s success on the field can benefit families who need it in the off-season.” Prolink is partnering with the Bengals again for the 2023-24 season and will identify another worthy charity to receive their 2024 donation.
Ryan Holmes, Bengals Director of Corporate Partnerships, added, “Our partnership with Prolink creates an opportunity to make a positive impact in the community. We are grateful that Prolink extends our on-field success into tangible benefits for families in the region through the great work of the Ronald McDonald House.”
Founded in 1982, RMHC of Greater Cincinnati is the largest Ronald McDonald House in the world. It provides comfort, support, and resources to families with critically ill children who come to Cincinnati from all around the world to get the best care for their child. Families can live steps from the hospital in a private room and receive free meals, free laundry, activities, spaces to play and relax, and the opportunity to be around people who know just what they are going through.
“We’re incredibly grateful for Prolink’s generous support of our mission,” said Jennifer Loeb, CEO of RMHC of Greater Cincinnati. “We had so much fun cheering on the Bengals with our guest families this season. We’re proud to say that we converted many of them to be Bengals fans! For Prolink to turn the Bengals’ success into an amazing gift to our House shows how innovative and thoughtful they can be.”
RMHC of Greater Cincinnati can care for 177 families every night, including parents, children receiving outpatient treatment, siblings, and other family members. In 2022, RMHC of Greater Cincinnati provided 2,082 unique families with nearly 49,000 nights of care and more than 130,000 meals. On average, families stayed in Cincinnati for 27 nights.
