The Joint Commission granted Terim Dortch, MSN, RN, CPEN, Prolink's Director of Clinical Talent Experience, the opportunity to partner with its Health Care Staffing Services Advisory Council. Dortch will work collectively with the council to identify and advise on industry issues that may impact the Joint Commission's Health Care Staffing Certification Program. She will also provide input into standards, performance measurement, policies, and product changes that impact the program.
"Terim's participation on the council is important in providing strategic direction to the overall goal of the Advisory Council," Chad Larson, the Joint Commission's Executive Director of Hospital Accreditation & Certification Programs, said. "[She will] support meaningful improvements that impact overall quality and patient safety in healthcare."
