Founded in the fall of 2023, Prolink’s ROSE award program is designed to honor and celebrate the extraordinary care given by Prolink’s allied staff. An acronym for Recognition of Service Excellence, ROSE rewards Prolink clinical travelers outside of nursing (RN or LPN/LVN) for their achievements, compassion, and care.
Prolink’s first ROSE award recipient of 2024 is Nadine Akomeah!
Nadine is a Perfusionist and first generation Ghanaian American. Nadine received her Perfusion Technology training as part of the inaugural class of Baylor Scott & White Heart Hospital's Cardiovascular Institute in Plano, Texas. She got her bachelor’s degree in general studies with concentrations in Biology and Psychology from Tarleton State University in 2018. Prior to Perfusion school, Nadine was a retail/hospital pharmacy technician, where she gained experience in pharmacology and realized her love for helping patients. Nadine hopes to one day transition into Pediatric Perfusion and join several medical missions to give back to the underserved communities in Ghana.
Nomination Submission
“Nadine has been such a joy to work with. She signed up for this assignment going from Texas to Ohio and even signed an extension. She shows up to work every day and is the first to be on call and take on extra work.”
Prolink will select a ROSE Award for allied staff monthly. Click below to nominate a clinician for this special recognition or to learn more.
