DAISY Award Recap: January, February, and March 2024

May 15, 2024

This Nurses Month, Prolink is proud to recognize our DAISY Honorees for the first quarter of 2024. DAISY is an international program that recognizes the clinical skill and compassionate care that nurses deliver every day. As a DAISY Foundation partner, Prolink celebrates nurses who are performing extraordinary acts of service in facilities across the country.

The first three DAISY recipients of 2024 are:

  • Cynthia Eugene, BSN, RN, MBA
  • Aretha Ibrahim, BSN, RN
  • Catanya Robinson, BSN, RN

Each honoree received an award certificate, a DAISY Award pin, and a hand-carved Healer’s Touch stone sculpture during the recognition ceremony.

Nomination Submissions

Cynthia Eugene: "Cynthia is an amazing nurse! … [she] is an absolute joy to work with, always positive even with the hard shifts. She is equally loved by our patients and the team! She is being recognized by one of her patients who called the hospital to commend her for going above and beyond her nursing duties and for showing him extraordinary care.’”

Aretha Ibrahim: "Aretha is a really great nurse. She is very observant with her patients, and she goes above and beyond. She follows up with everything to get the care that the patients need.”

Catanya Robinson: “Nurse Cat embodies what it means to be a healthcare professional. She cares, goes above and beyond for everyone from her patients to the staff at the facility. Even when she calls to update me as her recruiter on anything I need to be aware of, you hear everyone in the background saying hello to her and clearly excited to be around her.”

Prolink will select a DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nursing monthly. Click below to nominate a nurse for this special recognition or to learn more.
