Electronic Assembler job in Miamisburg, OH

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Soldering certification or recent experience (last ten years). 
• 0-3 years of experience in an assembly environment.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the manufacturing/assembly field.
• Able to read and follow work instructions.
• Must possess attention to detail when following instruction.
• Use small hand tools and instrumentation
• Mechanical assembly aptitude/experience required.
• Good physical dexterity.
• Good math skills.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

• Build/Test parts and assemblies to meet tolerances and product specifications.
• Identify units that fail test or tolerance levels.
• Properly use safety equipment
• Complete formal training of primary work area within introductory period.
• Works under immediate supervision.
• Reports to a supervisor or manager.

Day to day:

Working on a line assembling small electrical components for optical devices. A very “attention to detail” focused position. One day you could be working on a certain component/section of the device, and another day you could also be working on a different section of the device or another device.

They train every one they bring on staff to get them up to speed. The facility is recently renovated and expanded and are a company who is growing very rapidly. Military vets love to work there because it gives them a sense of fulfillment in that they are still able to help those in the armed services by making their products, and civilians love it, too, for the same reasons.  

In addition this person will be assisting in the packaging operation. 1/2 day package prep and 1/2 day assembly.
