The Cardiac RN must be able to assist with the diagnosis and treatment of patients with heart conditions.
They will be responsible for the assessment and monitoring of patient conditions, checking symptoms and vital signs, administering medications and assisting in the development ongoing care plans.
Shift/Hours:
Multiple Shifts available to include Day and Night shifts.
Compensation:
Pay: $34.68 - New Grad | $44.22 - Mid | $53.75 – Max.
Tuition Reimbursement: $4000 annually for Full-time; $2000 annually for Part-time. Eligible after 180 days of employment.
Must Haves:
License: IL RN license
Certification: CPR/BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
*Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required but can be provided in orientation if candidate does not hold ACLS at time of submission. Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) required within one year of start date.
Experience: 1 year of Tele RN experience preferred, but will consider 1 year of Med/Surg experience.
Education: Associates Degree or higher in Nursing.
*If Associates Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021).
