Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Stamping Operator to join our team. As a Stamping
Operator, you will be responsible for operating stamping machines to produce metal components
according to specifications. Your expertise in machine operation and quality control will play a vital role
in ensuring the accurate and efficient production of high-quality stamped parts. The ideal candidate will
have experience in stamping machine operations, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively
in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Set up and prepare stamping machines for production runs, including tooling setup and selection.
• Load metal sheets or coils into the stamping machine and position them accurately for stamping.
• Operate the stamping machine to produce stamped metal components according to specified
dimensions and requirements.
• Perform quality checks to verify that stamped parts meet required tolerances and dimensions.
• Make necessary adjustments to the stamping machine to ensure accurate and precise stamping.
• Inspect finished stamped parts for defects and perform any required rework.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Maintain stamping machines and perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a Stamping Operator or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of stamping machine setup and operation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
• Physical ability to lift and handle metal sheets and coils.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing production demands.
• Additional technical certifications or training in stamping machine operations is a plus.
