Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will be
responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems in various industrial and
construction settings. Your expertise in pipefitting techniques and precision in work will play a crucial
role in ensuring the proper functioning and integrity of piping systems. The ideal candidate will have a
strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of pipefitting standards, and the ability to interpret technical
drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities:• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to plan pipefitting layouts.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes to fit the required dimensions and configurations.
• Assemble and install piping systems, including pipes, fittings, and supports.
• Test piping systems for leaks and ensure proper connections and alignments.
• Collaborate with construction teams and project managers to execute pipefitting tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance on piping systems to ensure longevity and functionality.
• Operate pipefitting tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols during pipefitting activities.
• Maintain accurate records of pipefitting activities and materials used.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within industrial or construction settings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of pipefitting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
• Physical ability to handle pipes and work in various positions and environments.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in confined spaces as required.
• Additional certifications in pipefitting or related trades are a plus.
