Maintenance Supervisor job in Covington, KY

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a
Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance activities
and leading a team of maintenance technicians. Your technical expertise and leadership abilities will play
a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of our facility and equipment. The ideal
candidate will have strong supervisory skills, a deep understanding of maintenance procedures, and the
ability to effectively manage a team.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and lead the maintenance team, providing direction, training, and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities to meet production and facility needs.
• Inspect and assess equipment and machinery for maintenance requirements and repair needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols during maintenance work.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment needed for maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal
disruption to operations.
• Oversee the implementation of preventive maintenance programs to prevent equipment breakdowns.
• Address and resolve maintenance-related issues and breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, expenses, and equipment history.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Associate degree or technical certification in a related
field is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong technical knowledge of maintenance procedures and equipment repair.
• Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies.
