JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a skilled Backend / API Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services that support Prolink’s enterprise applications. This role focuses on developing APIs, integrating with third-party systems, and ensuring reliability of data workflows across environments.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in C#/.NET Core, SQL Server/Azure SQL, Python and REST/GraphQL API development, with exposure to cloud-native architectures (preferably Microsoft Azure).
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that support enterprise-scale applications.
• Collaborate with front-end, mobile, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and secure coding standards.
• Build and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data access layers for performance.
• Integrate with third-party APIs
• Implement authentication/authorization strategies (OAuth2, JWT, SSO, RBAC).
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve API reliability, scalability, and security.
• Stay current with new backend frameworks, cloud technologies, and integration standards.
REQUIREMENTS
• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong experience building RESTful APIs and integration services
• Experience integrating with enterprise platforms such as: Microsoft Dynamics CE / Dataverse, Workday (Studio, REST/SOAP, EIBs)
• Experience with: .NET / C#, Node.js, or Java, SQL Server and relational data modeling, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT
• Experience supporting mobile and web applications via APIs
• Strong understanding of system architecture and integration patterns
• Experience with Azure services (Functions, App Services, API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Knowledge of React Native backend patterns
• Healthcare, staffing, or HRIS/ATS integration experience
• Familiarity with SOC2, HIPAA, and data privacy regulations
