The primary responsibilities of the Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) is to support the Occupational Therapist in the treatment of patients whose daily life and work are compromised due to illness, injury and/or disability.
The OTA helps patients conduct exercises required by a treatment plan and educates them on any associated equipment as needed.
Additional responsibilities may be designated by the OTA's supervisor.
