The primary responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant is to provide care to patients under the direction and supervision of Physical Therapists.
They will observe patients before, during, and after therapy; use a variety of techniques (such as massage and stretching) to treat patients; use devices and equipment to assist patients; educate patients and family members on post-treatment plan; and record patients’ progress and report the results of each treatment.
