The Mother Baby RN cares for women and their infants after labor and childbirth. They are responsible for assisting, supporting and educating women during postpartum and recovery.
The Mother Baby RN will monitor patients with high-tech diagnostic equipment and record all patient data into the EMR system, while spending one-on-one personal time with the mother and newborn baby.
Shift/Hours:
Night Shift: Full Time, 36 hrs./wk., 7:00pm - 7:30am
Compensation:
Pay: Min $36.64 | Max $68.37
Requirements:
License: Current Washington State RN Licensure. Compact not accepted. Can submit candidates that have NCLEX scheduled, open to offering positions contingent on passing NCLEX for the right candidate.
Certification: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP (AAP Neonatal Resuscitation Program), Intermediate AWHONN-EFM (Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course, Advanced Fetal Monitoring course will be considered acceptable.) Willing to work with candidates on certifications.
Experience: New grads accepted.
Education: ASN accepted.
Preferred:
Prefer to be able to work L&D too. Prefer S.T.A.B.L.E. certification. RN-C Preferred. BSN & 2 Years of Recent Experience as a Mother/Baby Nurse in a Level III Trauma Center preferred.

Number of Beds: 8
Patient Population: Pregnant women, Level 1 nursery 35 weeks and up.
Common Diagnoses: Low and High risk labor and delivery, C-Section
Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:3 Couplets
