ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive &Problem Solving & Decision Making
- Act as a subject matter expert in all stages of the Direct billing process
- Lead new hire and ongoing team training, reinforcing Prolink’s policies and procedures as needed
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to prepare weekly specialized reports for billing
- Actas a primary escalation point for operational issues in the team
- Complete weekly project and EIB billing as needed
- Perform weekly billing audits to provide feedback to Billing Manager
Communication & Collaboration
- Coordinate with Billing Manager to improve processes and build efficiencies on the team and across team within the organization
- Work closely with new direct clients to establish billing needs
- Support team with weekly billing
- Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION
- Healthcare Staffing experience
- Associate Degree in business, accounting or relevant field, or equivalent combination of experience and education
- 2+ years of billing experience
- Strong leadership skills and critical thinking ability
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and manage a large volume of detailed work
- Ability to read and interpret contracts to discern billing and timekeeping requirements
- Excellent interpersonal communication and the ability to professionally and confidentially manage sensitive employment issues
- Demonstrated partnership skills and strong service orientation •
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; embraces and adapts to new technology
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
- Prior team leadership or supervisory experience
- Two-four years billing experience
