Surgical RN job in Richmond, VA

Location: Richmond, VA
Employment Type: Contract

The Surgical RN provides care for patients before, during and after surgery while also serving as the communication contact to family members while patients are in surgery.

The Surgical RN is responsible for setting up for surgery and ensures that it runs smoothly. They will take and monitor patient’s vital signs and assist the surgeon as needed.

The Surgical RN will also prepare and administer prescribed medications, will complete charting and then manage the transfer the patient.

Our client may require the following: prior experience in an surgical setting, AHA BLS.
