The Oncology RN is responsible for providing nursing care to cancer patients. The Oncology RN monitors the patient's vital signs, develops care plans and dispenses medication. Additional responsibilities include administering patient education, assisting physicians with patient care, conducting research to improve the treatment protocols assigned to patients.
Our client may require the following: prior experience in a medical/surgical setting (preferably oncology) and AHA BLS, OCN certifications.
