The Pediatric ICU RN is responsible for the care of Peds patients, this includes infants, children and adolescents. They are responsible for the continuous monitoring of things like heart rate, breathing, and blood pressure.
Pediatric ICU RNs are often responsible for helping families cope with their child's illness or injury, in addition to educating families on proper diet and nutrition of children they also teach lifelong good health habits.
The Pediatric ICU RN's education and specialized training enables them to provide emotional and medical support to young patients and their families.
Our client may require the following: experience in a PEDS setting and AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
