What do you enjoy most about being a lead trainer?
I like to be able to see progression of my technicians under my training matrix.
If you could say one thing to the world, what would it be?
With hard work & dedication you can become the next career success story, just as I have done.
So, we hear you are not a native Cincinnatian. Where are you from and what brought you here?
I’m originally from Buffalo, NY but was living in Tennessee before coming to Cincinnati. I moved here for a new job opportunity and stayed because I love the beautiful city and found a career that I truly enjoy.
What is something you get unreasonably excited about?
Chicken wings. Hands down.
We’ve been told you are a bit of a movie buff. What’s your favorite genre? Favorite movie?
I love psychological thrillers. My favorite movie, I’d say, has to be Devil’s Advocate.
If you could spend two years doing whatever you wanted, what would that something be?
I love to cook, so spending two years traveling the world and creating new dishes inspired by different cultures would be awesome. My favorite dish to cook is Jerk Chicken, which I learned when visiting Toronto - they have a big Jamaican community and learning how to cook in that style was incredible.
You’ve loved cooking for a while now. What inspired that?
My maternal grandmother. She was an incredible cook and I loved the experience of watching her cook for us growing up.
Tell us a story from when you were a kid. Can be silly, stupid, warm and fuzzy, whatever. Just make it a good one.
I remember once, my sister thought she was some sort of action hero and she went over a ramp on her bicycle.. her handle bars went one and she went the other way.. oh boy!
