Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly
Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and building products according to engineering
specifications and quality standards. Your precision and attention to detail will play a critical role in
ensuring the accurate and efficient assembly of components. The ideal candidate will have a strong
mechanical aptitude, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced
assembly environment.
Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions to understand product
specifications.
• Assemble and build products according to specified dimensions and requirements.
• Use hand tools and power tools to perform assembly tasks with precision and accuracy.
• Inspect and test assembled products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Perform quality checks and address any defects or discrepancies in the assembly process.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist in training new assembly team members as needed.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as an Assembly Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate to heavy components.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing production demands.
• Additional technical certifications or training in assembly techniques is a plus.
