The Med/Surg RN should be able to care for 4-5 patients and perform well in a fast-paced environment, taking vitals and administering medications.
Study patients' medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
Track routine heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry measurements.
Monitor, interpret, and record data from specialized medical technologies and equipment.
Shift/Hours:
Multiple Shifts available to include Day and Night shifts.

Pay: Min $36.64 | Max $68.37
Requirements:
License: Current Washington State RN Licensure. Compact not accepted. Can submit candidates that have NCLEX scheduled, open to offering positions contingent on passing NCLEX for the right candidate.
Certification: BLS & PALS Required. PEARS (AHA Pediatric Advanced Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization) certification to be obtained within 12 months of hire and renewed every 2 years. Willing to work with candidates on certifications.
Experience: New grads accepted.
Education: ASN accepted.
Preferred:
BSN & 2 Years of Recent Experience as a Med/Surg Tele Nurse in a Level III Trauma Center preferred.

Number of Beds: 25 (Can go up to 27)
Patient Population: General Population, Occasional Low Acuity Pediatric Patients, Withdrawal, Nursing Home Patients
Common Diagnoses: Appendix, Gallbladder, Sm Bowel Obstruction, COPD, CHF, Encephalopathy, Sepsis Step Down, Gangrene in the Winter, Wound Vacs
Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:4 Tele/Pediatric/Specialty, 1:5 M/S
